WORX WG168 40 Review
What Customers Are Saying:
Based on nearly 60 reviews, the WORX WG168 received an overall score of four out of five stars with 50 users giving it four or five stars. This trimmer is well received by customers with an extremely low percentage of one star reviews (5%).
The good: the vast majority of users loved this trimmer. It seems ideal for small to medium yards with normal grass conditions. This trimmer includes heavier duty line (.80) vs. the normal .65 line that accompanies most trimmers. Run time is good for most average users, and the battery charges quickly.
The bad: the handle was awkward for some and, and although adjustable, the trigger is not. Some complained that the auto line feeder did not work as well as expected, and a few commented that the trimmer was a bit heavy.
The WG168 is a good choice for most users with a typical yard. This model seems to be one of the more consistent of the trimmers in this category. Sure, you still come across the occasional defect from time to time, but the rate of bad reviews is exceptionally low for this one.
The variable speed trigger is effective, with one user reporting an hour and a half of run time at low speed (though this is not typical). Overall, a solid entry into the 40-volt market, and a good choice for those with small to medium yards looking to ditch the gas.
